Technical Specialists in the Incident Command System (ICS) are subject matter experts who provide specialized knowledge—such as environmental, legal, or technical expertise—to support incident objectives. Usually managed within the Planning Section, they analyze data, advise command, and assist with technical tasks to improve response effectiveness.
