An Incident Communications Technician (COMT) installs, maintains, and repairs critical communication systems (radio, satellite, internet, phones) during emergencies to ensure connectivity for responders. They operate under the Communications Unit Leader (COML), managing the incident communications plan, troubleshooting equipment failures, and managing emergency power systems to ensure seamless, compliant communication.
