Communications Unit Leader

COML

The Communications Unit Leader is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing all technical and operational communication systems during an incident. Reporting to the Logistics Section Chief, the COML oversees radio, telephone, and data networks, prepares the Incident Radio Communications Plan (ICS Form 205), and manages the distribution/repair of equipment to ensure interoperability.
