The Situational Awareness (SA) section within an Incident Support Model (ISM) Emergency Operations Center (EOC) collects, analyzes, and disseminates incident information to create a common operating picture. It drives decision-making by identifying, understanding, and projecting future incident status to support field operations, resource management, and strategic policy.
